War Zone Doctors

With a 4500-strong force deployed across five countries, Operation Barkhane in Mali is the largest ongoing French military operation. To ensure medical support for the troops, the Armed Forces Minister has committed substantial resources: 22 medical teams in armored vehicles accompanying the frontline fighting units, three ultramodern field hospitals, a wide range of specialist doctors, evacuation teams… Everything is being done to ensure that these soldiers receive prompt and effective treatment.
