This film celebrates the artistic richness that illuminated the reign of the least publicized Bourbon king, through the eyes of the women who surrounded him during his life.
Queen Marie Leszczynska, Mesdames Victoire and Adélaïde, his daughters, the Marquise de Pompadour and the Comtesse du Barry, his mythical favorites, all proved to be great protectors of the arts, bringing to its apogee the Louis XV style, considered today as a moment of perfection of French Art.
